The Rev Whitney Burton was appointed Rector of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Dunedin, FL in May 2021. A native of Atlanta, she joined the parish with her husband Steven Smith on May 17, 2021.
Thomas D. Huffman holds both the Bachelor of Music and the Master of Music degrees from West Virginia University and is a Past Dean of the Clearwater Chapter of the American Guild of Organists where he also currently serves as the chair of the Scholarship Committee and produces the monthly Chapter newsletter.
Catherine Lee joined Good Shepherd as the new parish administrator in April 2025 after a career teaching High School chemistry. Catherine lives in Tampa with her greyhound Cricket and canary Mr. Lemonhead. Her hobbies are gardening with a special interest in orchids, begonias, and zinnias, and aquarium keeping where she currently has a brood of cuttlefish.
Carey coordinates our Nursery, Sunday School for children, and Youth Group for teens. She is also our webmaster, manager of COGS’s virtual platforms, and director of our live-streaming services on Sundays.
