The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Dunedin, FL officially celebrates its 140th year on December 28, 2026. The church will celebrate this history throughout the year with many events.
Beginning in January 2026, displays about the history of the church building and congregation will be presented in Kirk Hall. History Moments will be present at each Sunday Worship Service. Then, in February, the fun begins.
February 1 – 8, 2026: A week of events, history, and celebrations!
• Sunday, February 1: Official 140th Celebration Kick-Off Sunday
• Tuesday, February 3: Cheese & History Reception
• Friday, February 6: Fish Fry Dinner
• Sunday, February 8: 9 AM Worship Service with Bishop Scharf. Celebratory reception to follow.
Good Shepherd History Book – “The Legacy Continues, the Church of the Good Shepherd since 1886” is now available for pre-sale in Kirk Hall following each worship service. Price for the book has been set at $35.00 during the pre-sale and will be $40.00 after January 18, 2026.
