Each year, Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of our Lenten season. Ash Wednesday, also called the Day of Ashes, focuses the Christian’s heart on repentance and prayer. Lent, then, asks believers to set aside this time each year, marking an intentional season of focus on Christ’s life, ministry, sacrifice, and resurrection.

Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd will have two
Ash Wednesday services on March 2, 2022:

7:30 AM & 6:00 PM

Beginning on Ash Wednesday and continuing through Lent, each Wednesday 6 PM Stations of the Cross service will be followed with a Lenten study and soup-supper. All are welcome.
